STATE HIGHWAY 4 / RANCHWOOD BOULEVARD / MUSTANG ROAD
CITY OF YUKON
Triad Design's 2009 improvements for State Highway 4 (Mustang Road) in Yukon extend
from Interstate 40 to Vandament Avenue (Oklahoma City's NW 23rd St.) and Ranchwood
Boulevard from Mustang Road to SH 66. The upgrades are a cooperative project of
ODOT, Oklahoma City, and the City of Yukon to alleviate traffic congestion on the
roadway which serves a mixed development area of commercial, residential, light
industrial, municipal offices, and schools.
The new design is for a four and five-lane curbed gutter roadway with storm sewer.
Parts of the Final Plan are signalized intersections, including one on Mustang Road
south of Ranchwood Boulevard to access the new Yukon High School, and the new railroad
crossings at the intersections of Ranchwood/Mustang and Ranchwood/Vandament intersections. Triad
provided large drainage structure design including a new weir structure at the outlet
of Legacy Lakes and Industrial Park.
